Job Mission
The Key Account Manager is responsible for fostering long-term, productive relationships with key stakeholders, maximizing sales opportunities within the assigned territory. This involves collaborating cross-functionally to achieve account performance objectives, ensuring that customer expectations are met while adhering to Roche’s high standards of integrity and compliance.
The role requires proactive assessment and validation of customer needs, developing strategic business plans to drive profitable sales volume and meet key performance indicators (KPIs).
This position reports directly to the Sales Manager.
Your Impact
Maintain a long term productive relationship with stakeholders and maximize sales opportunities within your assigned territory
Work collaboratively and cross-functionally with different departments in order to meet account performance objectives and meet customers’ expectations
Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume, KPIs and strategic objectives in assigned accounts
Develop business plans for current and future opportunities and proactively assesses, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis while maintaining an updated CLS
Document all account related activities and opportunities in the company CRM system and proactively share and update all colleagues who are serving the assigned Key Account with his/her strategic account plan
Respect and follow all company rules, policies, values and principles
Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations as well as to the high integrity standards as set forth by Roche
Ensure that the placed instruments are generating the committed volumes
Who You Are
You hold a BSc degree in Life Sciences, Medical, Biomedical Engineering or equivalent
You have at least 4 to 5 years of experience in sales in the Healthcare market (IVD preferred), with a proven success record
You believe that Competition knowledge is an asset
You have strong account management, stakeholder management, and relationship building skills
You are proactive, dynamic, and able to achieve goals with minimal direction
You have strong communications and presentation skills both oral and written, and ability to make powerful presentations
You are highly self-motivated and passionate in conducting and developing business
You have strong leadership skills, and able to resolve/solve conflicts/problem
You are able to organize, prioritize and manage your tasks efficiently
You have strong negotiation and convincing skills
