Junior Accountant with the following responsibilities & requirements.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated
Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial transactions. This role is perfect for someone looking to grow their career in accounting and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Daily Financial Transactions: Process and document daily financial transactions, including bank transfers, invoices, and payments.
- Vendor Accruals: Assist in managing vendor accruals, ensuring accurate recording and timely reconciliation of accounts.
- Transaction Recording: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions in the accounting system.
- Account Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling bank statements, accounts payable/receivable, and other financial accounts.
- Expense Tracking: Monitor and track company expenses, ensuring they are recorded accurately and within budget.
- Support Audits: Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
- General Ledger Maintenance: Help maintain the general ledger by posting entries and ensuring accuracy.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with company policies, accounting principles, and legal regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
- Basic accounting experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
