about the role



Deal Support and Analysis:



Support in-country sales/presales teams to optimise the opportunity to enhance competitiveness. Collaborate with Product Marketing to ensure the opportunity costing strategy aligns with business objectives and maximize competitiveness. Analyse sales data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement in costing and competitive positioning.
Lead competitiveness reviews and provide feedback to key stakeholders including GDO and Product Marketing

Process Improvement and Optimization:



Gather best practices for solution design, costing and proposal development. Gather feedback to help the process owner to streamline and optimize presales processes, increasing efficiency and effectiveness.

Team Development and Training:



Develop and deliver training programs to equip presales teams with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively compete in the market. Coach and mentor presales professionals on costing strategies, competitive intelligence, and customer engagement techniques. Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the presales team.

Tool Implementation and Management:



Identify pricing/costing analysis tools and systems developed in OBI that can be used to support presales activities. Ensure that pricing/costing analysis tools are effectively used by the presales team. Provide ongoing support and training on the use of pricing/costing analysis tools.

Stakeholder Management:



Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including sales, marketing, product management, and finance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on costing strategies and objectives. Effectively communicate costing decisions and strategies to internal and external stakeholders.

Strong analytical skills: Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Strategic thinking: Ability to develop and implement long-term costing strategies. Excellent communication skills: Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences. Proven experience in a presales or sales role: Understanding of the sales process and customer needs. Knowledge of pricing and costing strategies and tactics: Familiarity with various models and techniques. Proficiency with pricing tools and systems: Experience with Customer Links and Abacus, and other relevant tools. Strong leadership and team-building skills: Ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve high performance.

Base salary from 2 410 € brutto per month, actual salary is likely to be higher based on skills, knowledge and experience. Please mind that the salary is only relevant for Slovakia Location.
