Responsibilities
- Responsible for field installation activities, collaborate with his team, support in installation documents Preparation & review e.g., Method statements, plans and test procedures, document binder, timetables, test areas, records, tools, etc. with Supplier / Subcontractor
- Support in the identification of which documents and inputs are required to be received from Engineering / Supplier for installing and testing the system and ensures that the last revision is the one used for that
- Makes sure that the installer has the right means to perform the installation; Tools calibrated, understanding of drawings and Method statement, right material, and accurate knowledge / training for performing the work
- Reports installation and testing progress to the Installation leaders and installation Managers and alerts if any risk, difficulties, or issues are identified during the installation activities that may impact the safety, the quality and/or the performance of the work
- Fills in installation PICO and handover to O&M
- Create test reports and KPIs
- Tracks NCRs whenever is necessary
- Ensures that the TRD is followed by Suppliers / Subcontractors
- Ensures all testing data is adequately recorded in Alstom designated tool(s).
- Ensures work is carried out according to local site rules
- Maintains effective working relationships with client, consultant, installers, and team members
- Implements and enforces EHS requirements on site with the support of EHS team representatives
- Ensure team members have the proper credentials, training, and supervision for the intended works
Job Requirement
- B.SC in Electrical/ Mechatronics Engineering with 3-5 years of proven working experience of Installation within rail projects
- Very Good knowledge of installation, means and methods
- Solution provider and progress oriented.
- Demonstrates good level of communication and diplomacy skills and the ability to guide subcontractors.
- Good understanding and demonstration of conflict and crisis management.
- Working on Day and/or Night shift depending on the site progress and needs
- Fluent in Arabic and English language
