Analyzing project documents to understand the scope of work.
Calculating the costs of materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services.
Estimation Engineer will be required to attend job ex meetings, site visits, etc. to assess specific details of the job requirement and carry out project planning as required.
Preparation and review of estimations and proposals, as required, and supporting estimators to ensure deadlines are met with bids submitted timeously.
Individual traits include punctuality, professionalism, presentability and articulation with colleagues and clients
Preparing and submitting detailed budget proposals and cost estimates for project bidding
A bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, industrial, or a related field) is essential.
5-7 years of experience in cost engineering, cost estimating within oil and gas industry or a relevant industry.
Certifications such as Certified Cost Professional (CCP) from AACE International or similar credentials can be highly beneficial.
Able to read drawings (P&ID's, Isometrics, etc.)
Ability to travel all over KSA.
Proficiency in cost management and cost control principle
