A growing FMCG company specializing in international trade, import/export operations, and product distribution is now hiring an Import and Export Specialist to be responsible for managing end-to-end international trade operations, ensuring smooth import and export of goods while complying with customs regulations, trade agreements, and international standards.


Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Oversee the import and export process for FMCG products, ensuring timely and cost-effective shipments.
  • Prepare, review, and manage all necessary trade documentation (invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, customs declarations, etc.).
  • Work closely with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers to facilitate smooth clearance and deliveries.
  • Optimize import/export costs by monitoring duties, tariffs, and trade agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with Egyptian and international regulations governing FMCG imports and exports.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, distributors, and third-party logistics providers.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery schedules to ensure efficiency and cost savings.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly reports on import/export activities, highlighting challenges and process improvements.

Job Requirements: 


  • 3 to 5 years of experience in import/export operations within the FMCG industry.
  • Familiarity with FMCG import/export certifications and regulatory approvals.
  • Strong knowledge of customs clearance, trade compliance, and logistics coordination.
  • Ability to manage multiple shipments, deadlines, and compliance requirements.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic (additional languages are a plus).
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Working Conditions:


  • Working Hours: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
  • Fridays & Saturdays are off
  • Work Location: Sheikh Zayed, Cairo, Egypt.
