The opportunityWe are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Factory HR Business Partner to join our team. In this role, you will be accountable for the overall HR contribution in close partnership with the factory management team, the Hub HR Business Partner and other functions by leading engagement and performance management programs, managing local HR processes, driving talent attraction, community engagement, and branding efforts and ensuring the organization has the people capabilities to deliver present and future business needs. You will be working for the Distribution & Traction (DT) Transformers factory in Egypt in the Hub Asia Pacific Middle East Africa (APMEA) for our Transformer business reporting to the Hub HR Business Partner in APMEA.
How you’ll make an impact
Partnering with Hub HR Business Partner to implement HR priorities in the organization in line with our Hub business unit and people strategy, covering culture, people, and organization utilizing the existing HR solution portfolio or providing new solutions where appropriate. Advising and consulting the management with HR related strategic and operational matters to develop and implement people strategies. Ensuring relevant people capabilities and organizational effectiveness in close collaboration with HR network Executing all HR processes within area of responsibility, including workforce planning, succession planning, performance management, talent management, remuneration, and other processes as applicable, performance of daily operational activities and local HR projects. Collaborating with business leaders to support talent and learning strategies that drive business growth, focusing on development, retention, and attraction. Driving talent attraction booster plans, aligning and executing of the local workforce plan as per business need Creating and executing engagement plans in partnership with local community organizations, enhancing the company’s brand presence in the market Strongly supporting Labor Relation activities to ensure compliance to Labor Relation policies for the factory, to oversee activities regarding labor relations, statutory compliance and organized labor within the area of responsibility. Delivering day to day HR management contact / relationship for employees, including employee welfare, counselling, grievance redressal, disciplinary processes. Establishing internal and external network with the HR community to perform best practice sharing and benchmarking. Contributing to cross-country HR projects as part of the Hub business unit in APMEA Region. Establishing network with the HR community to perform best practice sharing and benchmarking. Your background
Master’s degree in human resources or any similar education. Minimum 10 years of experience as HRBP, preferably in a manufacturing and Engineering focused unit. Experience in managing HR processes end-to-end in a manufacturing setup, expertise in community engagement and employer branding strategies. Experience in a fast-paced, global, multinational matrix environment Local labor relations experience and knowhow of factory statutory requirements Experience dealing with different stakeholder groups in a multinational enterprise. Strong stakeholder management with internal and external partners. Ability to partner with senior managers. Result oriented paired with strong communication (verbal/written) and influencing skills. Flexibility and strong team working / collaboration Strong analytical skills, data driven decision making. Translates strategies to actionable plans, aligns HR objectives to business needs, follows through to ensure completion. Possess analytical skills, savvy with all Microsoft applications, structured, organized and self-driven Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
