THE JOB :
The Hotel Sales Coordinator will provide administrative support through clerical duties, collecting and processing sensitive data (i.e., financials, credit card information), resolving guest issues, performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence both internal and external, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, scheduling meetings, meal appointments, and manage and maintain the schedules and workflow of Sales Executives. You will play a vital role in our mission to own the guest’s experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us.
THE STARTING PAY RATE: $19.00 / Per Hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:



Prepare and edit correspondences, communications, presentations, contract formatting, redlines, and updating systems to reflect contract terms and negotiated room rates Process reservations, expense reports, invoices, billing information for accounting, confirmations, cancellations, special handling alerts, show tickets, dining reservations, and amenities. Amenities could include but are not limited to site inspections, customer event weekends, and VIP stays Arrange and coordinate meetings, travel arrangements, and meal appointments within the property or outside travel Monitor, screen, respond to, and distribute incoming communications via e-mail and phone in a timely manner Provide guest service to internal employees, guests, and all customers of MGMRI

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:



High School Diploma, GED or educational equivalent In-Process or Completed College Education Preferred Six (6) months of previous administrative experience Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays Basic knowledge of computer software including Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as office equipment, i.e., telephone, copier, and fax machine Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
