Responsibilities:
• Teaching in ASN Program (Primary)
• Incorporate student learning teaching/learning strategies in classroom and lab/clinical
instruction.
• Participate in Department of Nursing and University Committees.
• Ensure student compliance with health requirements.
• Participate in student counseling and advising.
• Schedule office hours in compliance with University Policy.
• Evaluate student performance in classroom and clinical courses.
• Develop course schedules and syllabi in compliance with department and University
policies.
• Exhibits a strong commitment to nursing student success and to LSUA
• Demonstrates excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to work independently.
• Follows faculty policies and guidelines in compliance with University and School of
Nursing Policy
Qualifications:
• Master's degree in nursing
• Two years clinical experience as register nurse
• Active Louisiana RN license or Multi-State License
• CPR certified with documented health compliance as required of nursing faculty
