THE JOB:
As a Food Runner at Public House, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our guests receive their meals quickly and accurately in this fast-paced environment. You’ll work closely with the kitchen and service teams to expedite food, maintain cleanliness, and support the restaurant's smooth operation. If you’re detail-oriented and thrive in a team environment, this role is for you!
THE STARTING RATE: $13.959
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Greet guests in a positive, friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcome. Expedite food from the kitchen to the table, ensuring correct delivery of orders. Answer quick guest questions regarding menu items and accommodate special requests. Assist with side-work, such as prepping sauces, stocking condiments, and maintaining cleanliness of service areas. Maintain cleanliness of tables, chairs, and service areas, ensuring organization and cleanliness throughout the shift. Collaborate with the kitchen team and communicate effectively to ensure timely and accurate service.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Must be at least 18 years of age or older. Must be able to work on-call shifts, including day and swing shifts. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant. Ability to carry trays and handle multiple tasks while maintaining high service standards. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will interact with both guests and kitchen staff regularly.
