Who we're looking for:We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analysis and Reporting Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out all SOX and compliance requirements covering a wide range of the company's activities and functions. You will deploy an integrated Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance system to ensure sustainable performance, prevention and detection of misconduct, and protection of stakeholders' interests through rigorous corporate governance, proper internal control structure, and risk management processes with full compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
What you'll be doing:- Maintain and implement policies and procedures to manage the risk of non-compliance
- Verify that departments are in compliance with WPP policies, procedures, and all applicable laws and regulations
- Address any violations and detect fraud, implementing and monitoring corrective actions
- Evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of the company's internal control structure meeting all SOX and audit compliance process
- Provide training and support regarding compliance, internal control activities, and risk management strategies
- Participate in maintaining and implementing policies and procedures to manage the risk of non-compliance
- Oversight of Chartered Accountant - FESAA - Ethics behaviors, Principles of Action and Code of Conduct - Prevention of corruption and conflict of interest - International trade compliance - Data protection, privacy and digital security - Competition law - Investigations of suspected fraudulent activities, non-compliance practices, and improper behaviors
- Perform assurance activities to evaluate and develop the effectiveness and efficiency of the risk management and the internal control structure, processes, activities, and transactions
- Develop and implement a flexible risk-based annual audit plan including special tasks or projects requested by the group, local management, and the audit committee
- Determine whether the company's network of governance, risk management, and control processes is adequate and functioning in a manner to ensure that risks are appropriately identified and efficiently managed
- Conduct and assist in the investigation of suspected fraudulent activities and non-compliance practices
- Maintain professional audit staff with sufficient knowledge, skills, and experience
What you'll need:- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis and reporting, with a focus on SOX and compliance requirements
- Strong understanding of governance, risk management, and compliance systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
