Job Description

Due to the continuing success and growth of our team, this fantastic opportunity has opened up at our award-winning specialist consultancy, engineering and advisory firm.

At AESG we are looking for a Facade Access Designer to support the Facades team and work alongside our other specialist disciplines. This role will be based in New Cairo office in Egypt.

As a Facade Access Designer, you will primarily be responsible for drafting and supporting the design of facade access systems. Under the guidance of senior team members, you will assist in developing facade access solutions that ensure safe and efficient maintenance of building facades.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the facade access team under the supervision of the team leader.
• Develop detailed technical drawings for facade access systems, including BMUs, rope access, lifeline system and MEWPs.
• Coordinate with architects and engineers to integrate facade access solutions into the building design.
• Coordinate with AESG internal teams to develop facade access drawings and design solutions.
• Assist in preparing markups and drawings for facade access reports.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in drafting and designing facade access systems.
• Basic knowledge of facade access equipment, safety regulations, and relevant industry standards.
• Proficiency in drafting software such as AutoCAD and Revit; knowledge of InDesign is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn from experienced team members.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
