EUC / Horizon Senior Consultant
Job Description
The EUC (End-User Computing) / Horizon Senior Consultant will be responsible for providing expert-level consulting and implementation services for VMware Horizon solutions, alongside managing EUC technologies. This role requires in-depth knowledge of virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), end-user computing environments, and cloud technologies, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance across client organizations.
The Senior Consultant will collaborate with clients to assess their requirements, design appropriate solutions, and implement VMware Horizon environments while troubleshooting and optimizing performance.

Technical Skills
In-depth experience with VMware Horizon, including VDI and RDSH configurations, management, and troubleshooting.
Strong expertise in End-User Computing (EUC) technologies, including virtual desktops, application virtualization, and cloud-based solutions.
Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policies, and LDAP integrations in a Horizon environment.
Experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter Server.
Solid understanding of storage solutions (NAS, SAN), networking (TCP/IP, VLAN, QoS), and security best practices (encryption, SSO, MFA).
Knowledge of Windows OS, Linux, and various client devices (e.g., thin clients, laptops, mobile devices).
Certifications: VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or higher certification (e.g., VMware Horizon 8).
ITIL certification (preferred).Citrix or other VDI-related certifications (preferred).
Education
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
