Description
Job Purpose: To manage the Applications, support team heads to ensure stable production environment for in-domain Applications & Ensure providing efficient & effective IT services Job Description: 1. Provide overall direction and management for in-domain applications and ensure all appropriate solutions; from a production perspective, are in place to fully support CIB business objectives, strategic directions and customer’s requirements. 2. Handle vendor management by working closely with the vendor having day-to-day responsibility for monitoring the quality and time effectiveness of the vendor services 3. Maintain regular contacts with CIB business partners to ensure aligning production support road map and staff capabilities to business expectations, growth plans and new opportunities. 4. Approve the project plans and oversee the project deployment and handover of in-domain applications projects 5. Ensures the closure of all audit points and IT security concerns related to in-domain applications in production. 6. Participate in the selection and evaluation processes for applications and solutions related to in-domain applications from a production perspective. 7. Oversee the issue log of all related applications to maintain and enhance applications performance and stability. Strategy 8. Participate in the formulation and implementation of the Production Application Support Department strategy to ensure the alignment with CIB strategy Policies, Processes and Procedures 9. Participate and recommend improvements to policies, processes and procedures and manage their implementation to ensure all relevant procedural / legislative requirements are fulfilled Day-to-day management 10. Supervise the day to day operations of Application Support team providing some guidance in the related area, encouraging teamwork and facilitating related professional work processes in order to achieve high performance standards People Management 11. Supervise the activities and work of subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area is carried out in an efficient manner and in compliance with the set policies, processes and procedures. Compliance 12. Ensure compliance with all relevant CBE regulations, banking laws, AML regulations and internal CIB policies and code of conduct in order to maintain CIB’s sound legal position and mitigate any potential risks
Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer science or equivalent. Minimum 14 years of technical experience, at least 10 in banking industry. Full understanding of cards and customer contact channels technologies Very good Leadership and Management skills
