PurposeYou will provide engineering services, technical support and guidance to Worley and its customers, including oversite and supervision within the construction supervision engineering team.Duties and Responsibilities
- Contributes to the development and implementation of Worley systems and procedures for the project and performs work in accordance with Worley internal processes and all relevant approved procedures.
- Represents Worley at internal & external meetings on the project.
- Reports on project technical scope performance against the Construction Time Schedule.
- Assists in ensuring that no technical changes are implemented without prior approval as per EPC contract procedure and regulatory requirements.
- Monitors construction for compliance with electrical codes and standards, Contract requirements, results of previous design stages, etc. under the direction of the Site Construction Supervision Lead.
- Provides technical support to the Site Construction Supervision team on issues related to electrical engineering.
- Monitors construction of NPP’s and associated structures; develops comments pertaining to non-compliance with design.
- Oversees the entire technical installation documentation review process within the electrical engineering discipline.
- Participates in safety and hazard assessments for electrical processes and systems
- Reviews as-built design documents and modification of electrical systems.
What you will bringExperience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
- Strong technical skills; 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering on large scale projects, thermal power plants or in nuclear power plant development.
- Nuclear experience is required.
- Knowledge of European and Russian nuclear electrical codes is a plus.
- Recognized as having a specialized depth or breadth of expertise in the following areas: electrical installation work including main generator and excitation system, power transformers, GIS 500/220 kV diesel generators, relay protection, MV and LV Switchboards, DC and UPS system and cable installation.
