Elastic Stack Engineer

Job Description

Design, implement, and manage Elastic ECK clusters.
Develop and optimize data pipelines to ingest data from various sources into Elasticsearch.
Create and maintain custom dashboards to visualize and analyze data.
Configure alerting systems to notify teams of issues and anomalies.
Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues within the Elastic Stack.
Stay up-to-date with the latest Elastic Stack features and best practices.
Ensure environment optimal security, performance, and availability.
Ensure optimal resource usage in ECK environment.
Maintain Kibana roles and permissions to ensure data privacy.
Create Kibana dashboards and reports.
Ensure backups (snapshots) integrity.
Add all existing and future data sources to Elasticstack.
Create and maintain pipelines, template, policies and integrations.
Coordinate with each service owner for proper alerting rules.
Make use of Elastic monitoring features to monitor clients’ assets.
Enable Elastic Defend to secure clients’ assets.

Technical Skills

Strong understanding of the Elastic Stack components (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Elastic-agent).
Experience with Elastic ECK deployment and management.
Proficiency in a scripting languages (Python, Ruby, or Go).
Knowledge of data pipelines and ETL processes.
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with machine learning and data science is a plus Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
