Are you looking for an opportunity to enhance your technical leadership expertise and accelerate manufacturing and distribution for a global pharmaceutical company?  If so, this Customer Service & Logistics Lead role could be an exciting opportunity to explore.


As a Customer Service & Logistics Lead you will be the partner / “one point of contact” for the Egypt GM and Leadership team for supply chain related topics. You will lead and coordinate all activities underneath End to End Supply Chain for Egypt Market (Pharma) as well as ensure the development of an efficient, cost effective and responsive supply chain to best serve our patients.


This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following:


  • Responsible for the CS&L activities Egypt*
  • Manage the CS&L team members for Egypt, ensuring that they are delivering their objectives, managing their development, identifying talent for future progression
  • Act as the senior coordinating point for Demand & Supply team members working for the Egypt business (for both imported and locally produced products)
  • Form strong relationships and work with the Egypt GM and LOC Leadership Team (Commercial, Finance, Compliance, Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing…) to align supply chain to the business needs and commercial ambitions. Set-out and maintain the Supply Chain strategy to support and deliver the business needs. Represent the supply chain in Leadership forums providing senior stakeholder with clear guidance and challenge on current performance levels, identifying opportunities and risks and coordinating all PSC related topics.
  • Member of the PEM Customer Supply Chain (CSC) Leadership team
  • Own KPIs and deliver optimized customer service (OTIF), product availability, E2E P&L budget management and cost-to-serve (CtS) by initiating and running projects/programmes aligned with the Regional CSC and Global Pharma Supply Chain strategies
  • Support core commercial cycle by creating a transparent communication panel through effective pre-DRM, DRM, S&OP to deliver improved sales forecast accuracy (SFA)
  • Actively support delivery of other End to End SC & Business KPIs, such as Forecast Accuracy, Inventory, Write-offs
  • Manage inbound, distribution network, transportation, storage and any labelling activities for the respective market

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:


  • Minimum 10 years of diversified Supply Chain experience
  • University graduate or higher
  • Strong understanding of commercials drivers, objectives and challenges


  • Strong relationship management, building skills, with the ability to interact, influence, and manage multiple and varied business contacts, both internal and external, often with different requirements and goals.


  • Strong leadership skills
