Description
JOB PURPOSE:
To execute and implement the assigned changes and tasks related to applications in domain from both technical and functional perspectives. In addition to participating in new initiatives & projects implementation related to the domain.
JOB DESCRIBTION:
1. Perform the assigned project technical tasks - related to the applications in domain - and report any risks that may affect the project deliverables.
2. Provide technical knowledge and support to team members to ensure good quality deliverables and successful business operations.
3. Handle the in scope applications updates, upgrades and certifications over test environment and support the junior team members to ensure that applications are up to date and fully supported – with involvement of Test Environment Management support team whenever needed.
4. Participate in addressing and closure of audit points raised on in-domain applications.
5. Work closely with the technical vendors to gain the required knowledge and the understanding of the applications in domain.
6. Work closely with business analysis team and business owner to understand and analyse the business requirement related to the domain.
7. Work closely with architecture team to design technical solution for business requirements – related to the applications in domain.
Problem Management
8. Provide the needed support related to the applications in domain to the dedicated production support team to address production crisis without direct access to production environment.
Policies, Processes and Procedures
9. Follow all relevant department policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
Day- to-day operations
10. Follow the day-to-day operations related to own jobs in the Application Management, Development & Digital Solutions department to ensure continuity of work.
Compliance
11. Comply with all relevant CBE regulations, banking laws, AML regulations and internal CIB policies and code of conduct in order to maintain CIB’s sound legal position and mitigate any potential risks.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer science or equivalent
6-8 years of experience in Information Technology, with at least 50% of years of experience in the domain.
Banking experience is an added value
Skills
Very good command of English (written and spoken).
Good analytical and technical design skills.
