Job Description:
Responsibilities:
• Lead the architecture design and development of Digital Applications & Services for clients in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, leveraging
Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and technologies to achieve business objectives and meet customer needs.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to understand the specific needs and requirements of enterprise clients in KSA, translating them into comprehensive architecture solutions.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of the Saudi market landscape, competitive dynamics, regulatory environment, and customer preferences to inform architecture decisions and solution designs.
• Define and document architectural blueprints, standards, patterns, and guidelines for Digital Applications & Services, ensuring consistency, scalability, and maintainability.
• Design and implement secure and scalable authentication, authorization, and access control mechanisms for enterprise clients, taking into account privacy, security, and compliance requirements on
Google Cloud Platform.
• Develop robust APIs, microservices, and integration layers on GCP to enable seamless connectivity and interoperability with backend systems, third-party services, and external data sources.
• Lead the development of low-level design specifications, technical documentation, and architectural diagrams to guide implementation teams and ensure alignment with architectural principles and best practices.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, conducting code reviews, mentoring junior architects and developers, and ensuring adherence to coding standards and quality guidelines.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to design and implement scalable, resilient, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in digital architecture, evaluating emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks on GCP, and recommending solutions to enhance the functionality, performance, and user experience of Digital Applications & Services.
• Partner with cybersecurity and compliance teams to ensure that digital solutions comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices for data security and privacy on GCP.
• Lead architectural governance processes, including design reviews, architecture decision records (ADRs), and technical debt management, to maintain architectural integrity and alignment with business goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and customer success, to gather feedback, validate requirements, and prioritize enhancements to Digital Applications & Services based on customer needs and market opportunities.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
•
8-12 years of experience in software architecture, solution design, and development, with a focus on Digital Applications & Services in the telecom industry.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including proficiency in deploying and managing services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, and BigQuery.
• Strong understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices, with the ability to balance architectural concerns with business requirements and constraints.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence decision-making.
• Proven leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve technical excellence and deliver results.
• Experience working in Agile development environments and familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical challenges, evaluate alternative solutions, and make data-driven decisions.
• Professional certifications in architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) and cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect) are a plus.
• A passion for innovation, continuous learning, and staying abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, particularly in the B2B digital space in KSA and on Google Cloud Platform
