Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage comprehensive DevSecOps architecture and infrastructure, including security testing tools, automated security controls, and continuous security validation processes
Lead the development and implementation of secure CI/CD pipelines, including integration of SAST, DAST, SCA, container security, and infrastructure as code scanning tools
Define and maintain security requirements, standards, and best practices for development workflows, including secure coding guidelines, security testing criteria, and automated security controls
Architect and implement security automation solutions across the development lifecycle, including automated vulnerability scanning, compliance checking, and security testing
Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams on secure coding practices, security tools implementation, and vulnerability remediation strategies
Conduct security assessments of development processes, tools, and infrastructure while implementing continuous improvement initiatives based on findings
Lead the implementation of security metrics and monitoring solutions throughout the development pipeline, including creation of security dashboards and reporting frameworks
Design and deliver security training programs, including secure coding workshops, security tool usage, and best practices sessions for development teams
Collaborate with development teams, security teams, and operations to ensure security requirements are met throughout the software development lifecycle
Evaluate and integrate new security tools and technologies into the DevSecOps pipeline while maintaining existing security infrastructure
Qualifications:
18+ years of experience in IT Security with extensive knowledge of software development lifecycles, CI/CD processes, and modern development methodologies
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field, with relevant security certifications (CISSP, CSSLP, Security+) and cloud certifications
Comprehensive expertise in DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
Advanced knowledge of application security testing tools and practices, including SAST (Fortify, Checkmarx), DAST (Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP), and SCA (Snyk, Black Duck)
Strong programming experience in multiple languages (Python, Java, JavaScript) with deep understanding of secure coding practices and common vulnerability patterns
Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their security services, including cloud-native security tools and compliance frameworks
Demonstrated expertise in security automation, including experience with security orchestration tools and automated compliance validation
Strong understanding of security frameworks (NIST, OWASP), compliance standards (SOC2, ISO27001), and regulatory requirements
Proven experience leading and mentoring technical teams, with excellent communication and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
Experience with security monitoring solutions, log analysis tools, and security information and event management (SIEM) systems
Preferred: Experience with machine learning for security, advanced threat modeling methodologies, and modern application architectures (microservices, serverless)
