The DevOps Engineer works closely with our engineering, operations, and product teams, and ensures our suite of servers and databases are operating smoothly.
Key responsibilities & duties:
Establish monitoring tools to increase service reliability.
Control deployment workflow
Create and develop tools/scripts to automate builds and backups.
Conduct regular on-call duties and address issues pertaining tooperations.
Participate in the design and architecture of standards and methods for large, scalable distributed systems.
Engage in capacity planning and demand forecasting activities.
Qualifications:
0–3 years of infrastructure administration or programming experience
Extensive experience of any of the major cloud providers: GCP, AWS and Azure
Working familiarity with docker and Kubernetes
Solid Understanding of deployment systems
Experience scaling APIs and websites
Professional level spoken and written English.
Strong command of Git and Linux
Experience scaling and deploying Elastic Search clusters.
