You will oversee demand planning activities for your assigned product families in your business unit. You will also lead the demand review process and driving interactions with the cross-functional teams.
How you will contribute
You will:
- Lead the demand management agenda for the category, being the key interface between commercial (sales revenue planning) and supply (replenishment) to identify and evaluate the impact of potential availability issues/commercial changes including gap assessment and risk and opportunity discussions
- Partner with modelling team for the generation of statistical forecasting
- Manage, coach and develop a team
- Review standard consumption versus forecast at the customer and total product levels, liaising with replenishment and sales revenue planning to manage potential availability issues and the impact of under consumption
- Drive strong linkages with the commercial, customer collaboration, modelling, order fulfilment teams and supply planning including innovation and equity
- Drive continuous capability building in the demand planning team for planning improvement

More about this role
You will develop the 0-24-month IBP forecast by brand and at the stock keeping unit (SKU) level. You will coordinate, challenge and influence building block with input from sales, marketing and other partners. In addition, you will review the disaggregated short-term demand plan, which includes SKU/location mix and weekly pacing. Finally, you will provide the finalized detailed demand plan by SKU to supply planners and adjust it based on feedback from supply planners or commercial teams.
What you need to know about this position:
- Lead the monthly consensus meetings with commercial teams.
- Lead bi-weekly SOE meetings with commercial teams to monitor performance and plan achievement and communicating supply updates while highlighting any risks or ops on the short-term horizon & drive the migration from monthly to weekly planning horizon
- Roll-out digitalization for S&OE process
- Support launch plan of S4Hana/O9
- Identify and calculating risks & opportunities for supply planning through attend demand and supply meetings to ensure all risks and opportunities are correctly captured and communicated for the med-long term horizon.
- Identify opportunities and negotiate/shuffle demand to improve stocks availability and meet NR (Net Revenue) Targets.
- Ensure the FG (Finished Goods) stock levels and quantity availability as per the agreed plan and boundaries by monitoring the daily stock levels and weekly actual production
- Work with PS team to achieve the business DIOH targets across all categories.
- Perform root-cause analysis for continuous plan improvement of SFA and BIAS KPI's to improve overall supply chain process.
- Manage the system interface process for supply requirements between commercial and manufacturing through uploading supply on APO, validating the numbers and help to achieve the company targets for the whole system adoption
- Work with OTC & PS teams to ensure that DSO targets & CFR targets are met
- Lead E2E waste Management &monitor aging stocks to avoid unnecessary write offs and proposing liquidation plans across all categories.
- Work on new launches and phase-in-phase-out projects to ensure smooth transition without affecting the business
- Leading/Driving IL6S pillars within Demand Planning function.
- Development & Automation of planning related reports to provide visibility on short/long term Impact & enable decision making
