As part of Vodafone’s strategy to adopt a GEN AI technologies, One AI Factory was established to develop and deliver GEN AI products across different local markets
The PMO/Budget Controller/Demand Manager will support the GEN AI Factory Lead in managing the overall project scope, plan, and budget for the One AI Factory initiative. This role is crucial in ensuring effective financial management, demand planning, and project coordination across various local markets.
- Oversee the budgeting process, including the preparation, monitoring, and reporting of project budgets. Ensure that all financial activities are aligned with the overall project goals and objectives.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including financial reports, demand forecasts, and project status updates. Ensure that all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate with local market business units to understand their demand for GEN AI solutions. Prioritize and manage the demand pipeline to ensure timely delivery of high-priority use cases.
- Assist the GEN AI Factory Lead in coordinating project activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management. Ensure that all project deliverables are met on time and within budget.
- Facilitate effective communication and teamwork to ensure the success of the project, Serve as a point of collaboration among various stakeholders, including local market business units, EPIC Leads, Product Owners, and the Factory Lead.
- Proven experience in project management, financial management, and demand planning.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and delivering in environments with agile at scale using SAFe.
- Demand Planning: Skilled in coordinating and prioritizing demand for project resources.
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
- 4+ years’ experience in delivering big and challenges projects / programmes in international environment.
- Graduation degree in Computer science, Engineering or Business
- Proven experience in project management, financial management, and demand planning.
- Scrum Certificate , PMP, leading safe certificates
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and SAFe practices is a must.
