Delivery Manager/Scrum Master - Product Group



Job Description



The main purpose of the delivery manager is creating delivery plans and lead delivery teams using the department delivery methodology (Scrum / Kanban) making the best utilization of them for delivering software solutions and software services within a committed budget and time schedule.
Guiding the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight customers. Guiding the team on how to get the most out of self-organization.
Guiding the team on self-organizing to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks. Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization. Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment. Facilitating getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work. Facilitating discussion, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information. Supporting and educating the Product Owner, especially on grooming and maintaining the product backlog.
Process keeper making sure that the department-approved process is followed.
Making different kinds of plans for the project to make sure that the project will run and delivered successfully (i.e., Communication plan, risk plan, time plan, resource plan … etc.) using inputs from different stakeholders of project. Continuously creates and communicates project status reports for delivery office manager and key stakeholders. Participates in bidding by creating project plan for the integration team SoW.

Personal Skills



Leadership skills. Detail Oriented. Communication Skills. Problem Solving Skills. Decision Making. Preferred to be Scrum Master Certified and/or PMP Certified.

Technical Skills



•Have hands-on experience in Product Delivery: Agile Methodologies: Strong understanding of Agile principles and practices.
•Project Management: Good experience in project planning techniques, and proficiency in tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana for managing backlogs, sprints, and project timelines.
•Experience with reporting tools for tracking progress and performance metrics.
•Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC): Knowledge of the complete software development lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
•Familiarity with different development methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, DevOps).
•Technical Understanding: Basic understanding of software architecture and design principles.
•Quality Assurance (QA) Practices: Understanding of testing methodologies and QA processes to ensure product quality.
•Stakeholder Management: Skills in gathering and analyzing requirements from stakeholders.
•Ability to translate technical concepts into business language for non-technical stakeholders.
•Risk Management: Experience in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks throughout the project lifecycle.
•Ability to create contingency plans and manage unforeseen challenges.

Education



Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
