This role is responsible for managing the implementation and administration of the company's
database. He/She analyses the database needs and develops a longterm
strategy for data storage. He/She plans and develops databases. He/She looks into the way a company
manages, organizes, stores and accesses its information.
Applying the data protection and disaster recovery model.
Requirements• Bachelor degree in Computer Science/ Engineering or equivalent.
• Exp. Years 8+ years
• Participate in the Development and implementation of the strategic vision of the database
infrastrucutre in alignment with overall operational goals.
• Managing a team of database administration engineers to operational relational and nonreltional
database engines in all company envirounmenets.
• Manage all aspects of database engines support, analysis, maintenance and enhancement for
critical applications systems to assure smooth and timely resolution of problems, and maintain
proper documentation for problems resolution procedures and actions taken for future
reference .
• Participate in setting the data protection model, and disaster recovery strategy.
• Ensure the existance of a sufficient service monitoring dashboards of the managed database
engines, and participate in setting the related requirements. Working closely with product
support and business teams to deliver the database services with the excellence.
• Design and create ad-hoc data reports to capture key insight trends. Own the development
and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports to drive key business decisions.
• Enforce company data privacy and security policies and procedures to ensure quality and prevent
discrepancies.
• Experience of working with multiple data sources (e.g. Access, Excel, SQL Databases, NoSQL,
BIG Data etc.) and statistical analytics tool.
• Proven experience in a database administration role with demonstrated leadership
experience.
