Role Purpose

To plan and maintain a reliable and highly available IT Data network infrastructure for all IT services across Vodafone Data Center, VF Public Cloud, Call Center, MTX sites, Retail stores &office buildings.




Key Accountabilities & Decision Ownership

•    Network Operations Management: 
You are responsible for managing day-to-day network operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of the network infrastructure. 
This includes monitoring network performance, availability, and reliability, and taking proactive measures to address any issues or incidents.


•    Incident Management and Troubleshooting: 
Accountable for identifying and resolving network issues and incidents promptly and efficiently.


•    Network Performance Monitoring and Optimization: 
Responsible for monitoring network performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing measures to optimize performance.


•    Documentation and Reporting: 
Responsible for maintaining accurate documentation of network configurations, procedures, and incidents, and preparing reports on network performance and operational metrics.


•    Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: 
Expected to collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate effectively with stake
 




Core Competencies, Knowledge, and Experience

•    3-4 years of experience in in same field.
•    Provide a highly professional 2nd level support.
•    Participate in a 24x7 On-Call rotation. 


Must have professional qualifications: 


•    Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering or related field Degree.
•    Minimum has CCNP Knowledge 
•    Good understanding of different switching, routing, and wireless protocol.
•    Solid Knowledge of IP network (LAN/WAN), Data Center Architecture, Applications Load Balancing, Software Defined Networking.
•    F5 Load Balancer experience is a plus.
•    Python programming experience is a plus.
•    SDWAN and cloud platforms knowledge is a plus.

•    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
•    Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
•    Fluent in written and spoken English.
