ABOUT SHIFT EV:
Shift EV is a fast growing electric vehicle technology company, based in Cairo, Egypt. Our vision is to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles in Egypt and the region by developing state-of-the-art electric drivetrain solutions.
YOU’LL WORK ON:
Driving sales of our electric mobility products with institutional owners of fleets, in last mile delivery, services and transportation. You will also play a critical role in customer discovery for new products and new markets, and commercial prioritization of opportunities. You will expand Shift EV's sales bandwidth by hiring, training and managing a sales team. You will report directly to the VP of Commercial Operations.
YOU'LL HAVE OWNERSHIP OVER:
Sales strategy & objectives: Develop sales plans, set goals, and ensure targets are met.
Sales execution: Identify leads, qualify prospects, negotiate and close deals.
Client relationships: Build and maintain relationships with clients.
Sales process: Plan, direct, and coordinate the delivery of products or services
Data analysis: Carry out periodic market analysis about growth, new opportunities, business challenges, reporting back to commercial leadership.
Training: Develop training programs for sales representatives.
YOU ARE:
An experienced B2B sales professional with a track record of deals to prove it.
Technically minded or have sufficient curiosity to learn the inner workings of EV products.
Naturally quantitative, with a strong finance / analytics background to effectively drive a value-based sales process with a heavy financing component.
An excellent communicator who is able to work with different styles of people and influence different stakeholders
High integrity.
A resourceful problem solver with a track record of working on entrepreneurial or intrapreneurial projects.
You have a lot of grit and agility to work with ambiguity and uncertainty.
Develop new ideas and work on a solution to approach new accounts
