Job Details:
The Contracts Manager’s focus is to develop Direct hotels portofoilio of WegoBeds and to maintian the products requirements and competitvness within the designated area of responsibility.
Managing supplier relationship, partnership and contracual agreemtns maintinace FIT static and/or Dyanmic commisnoable agrements, as well as yielding and invemtory management to ensure the best oGering of the company throught its distribyution channles.
Achieve the targterd number of hotels agreed and the budget of total transactional turnover value, Room nights production, and the Operating Margins of the assigned portofolio.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Negotiate and conclude hotel contracts that meet key company criteria of competitive/exclusive rates, ready availability (allocation and/or free sale) and achievable commission levels. • Maximize contract and destination performance through tactical flash sales, added-value deals and periodic special oGers.
Regularly consult with Regional Head on product range and ongoing performance versus target • Monitor competitor pricing and availability and respond accordingly
Monitor and analyze production volumes to ensure adequate inventory.
Identify promotional opportunities within designated destinations/region
Identify and tackle issues regarding low performers
Produce monthly destination report to reflect market trends and product needs to Regional Head • Liaise with Pricing and Revenue teams to ensure maximum profit margins as and when necessary • Ensure all contract administration is completed to company guidelines in an accurate and timely manner
Ensure all hotel information content (photos/facilities/contact details) is accurate and up to date • Manage supplier relationship throughout validity of contract (incl. closeouts/book outs) and liaise with relevant internal departments as required.
Negotiate bookouts and bookings issues to minimize and void losses
Assume responsibility for all aspects of ongoing account management. Develop strong relationships with key supplier decision makers
Promote product internally and provide product recommendations as required • Work with suppliers and internal teams to maximize benefit of all BAR/FIT and Connectivity channels
Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to benefit from wholesale/retail distribution channels • Act as a solution provider in designated region
Undertake regular business trips (and trade fair attendance as required)
Carry out other administrative tasks, as and when required
Who you are:
Bachelor’s degree, in tourim studies or equivlient major.
Fluency in English language is a must, multilingualism is preferable.
Business English and Documentation Skills e-mails writing, and Details oriented. • Commercially savvy
Travel Trade Experience, Tourism industry and/or hospitality supported by proven contracting experience gained within OTA/Wholsale/BedBank/TO envoirement, with track record of meetings targets and delivering success.
Comprehensive understanding of hotel distribution landscape
7 – 10 Years Contracting and yielding experience TA/OTA/DMC/WH
B2B contracting experience in the designated destination
