Job Title: Construction Site Operations Manager
Job Summary: Our client, based in Egypt with operations extending to GCC regions, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager. The successful candidate will oversee and manage multiple construction sites, ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and high standards of safety and quality.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee day-to-day operations at construction sites. Ensure efficient workflow, safety compliance, and high operational standards. Develop and implement effective operational procedures and systems. Lead, train, and motivate a team of 20+ direct reports. Oversee budget management and strategic planning for operations. Manage vehicle and heavy equipment rentals, including contracts and pricing. Liaise with local authorities, utility providers, and regulatory bodies. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards. Collaborate closely with senior management to implement policies and resolve operational issues. Address client concerns promptly and improve customer experience.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant field. Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in construction operations management. Specific experience in pre-stressing, post-tensioning, or precast construction. Strong leadership, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills. Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office and advanced Excel skills. Exceptional organizational, analytical, and decision-making abilities. Fluency in English (very good to excellent).
Job Conditions:
Location: Variable within Egypt/GCC region. Work Mode: On-site Employment Type: Full-time Travel: Up to 10% within Egypt and GCC. Company car provided with monthly fuel allowance.
