Job purpose:The Commercial Head, being part of ELI & MEA Leadership team, will be responsible on setting and managing Amgen’s commercial strategy and operations in Levant & Iran countries. This role will be driving business growth by leading cross functional team from different functions to enable the distributors’ teams in executing commercial plans at the highest standards of ethics and compliance.Responsibilities: Develop commercial strategies to all Levant & Iran countries and ensure implementation through cross functional team with the distributors. Leverage market research/analysis to set business plans on commercial opportunities (expansion, business development…etc.) for distributors. Monitor the execution of business plans with the distributors through frequent business reviews. Ensure high level of governance by enabling the distributors on key functions like compliance, marketing & medical. Monitor the performance of distributors and the execution of commercial activities using key metrics and support the team in reporting data to the Leadership team. Collaborate with compliance to run frequent training to the distributors teams Manage Levant & Iran region P&L. Identify and remove barriers by working with internal and external stakeholders. Keep updated contracts and simplify working relationship process.Requirements: 10+ years of overall experience within pharmaceutical industry in multinational companies. Solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes. Marketing acumen with a solid grasp of marketing strategy, segmentation, brand positioning, tactical planning, product launch excellence and operational experience are a huge plus. Strong knowledge of Levant & Iran market dynamics. Track record of distributors management. Exceptional leadership competency in stakeholders and people management.
