Job Description
  • Category Strategy & Planning:
    Develop and execute strategic plans for the electronics category, ensuring alignment with Homzmart’s broader business objectives. Continuously evaluate the performance and adjust tactics to ensure profitability and market share growth.


  • Market Analysis & Trend Forecasting:
    Stay on top of the latest electronics trends and consumer preferences. Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and anticipate shifts in demand.


  • Vendor & Supplier Management:
    Establish and nurture strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to secure the best product offerings, competitive pricing, and favorable terms. Negotiate contracts to maximize value and minimize costs.


  • Product Selection & Assortment Management:
    Curate a diverse, high-quality product assortment that aligns with customer needs and current market trends. Manage stock levels to ensure optimal product availability while avoiding overstock.


  • Pricing Strategy & Promotions:
    Develop pricing strategies that balance competitiveness with profitability. Lead promotions and discounting strategies for the electronics category to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth.


  • Sales & Performance Monitoring:
    Track and analyze category performance, sales metrics, and KPIs. Use data-driven insights to optimize the product assortment, pricing, and promotional activities.


  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    Work closely with the marketing, supply chain, and customer service teams to ensure smooth execution of category initiatives, product launches, and customer satisfaction.



Qualifications
  • Experience:


    • Minimum 4 years of experience in category management, product management, or merchandising in the electronics industry.
    • Strong knowledge of electronics trends, including consumer preferences, emerging technologies, and market dynamics.
  • Skills:


    • Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
    • Proven experience in vendor negotiation and relationship management.
    • Strong understanding of pricing strategies and promotional tactics.
    • Excellent project management skills and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
