Cash Operations Executive
Job Description
Conduct regular audits and spot checks on cash operations, focusing on cash counting, vault management, and cash transfers Collaborate with cash operations teams to implement process improvements and address recurring issues effectively Ensure compliance with all cash-handling processes and procedures Monitor daily cash transactions and balances to identify and address discrepancies or variances promptly Investigate and resolve issues related to overages, shortages, and misallocations of funds Generate reports for management that highlight trends, issues, and areas for improvement in cash-handling processes Analyze cash transactions across branches, identifying unsettled amounts and tracking them Prepare and follow up on daily reports concerning branch settlement arrears to ensure timely resolution Identify and assess potential risks within the cash operations process, including fraud, theft, and operational inefficiencies Maintain accuracy and minimize risks in cash operations, which is critical to the overall financial health of the organization
Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field. 0-2 Years of experience in cash operations, banking, or financial services; quality control experience is a plus. Ownership Functional Skills Ideas’ Presentation and Taking Initiative Continuous Learning Customer Centricity Ability to detect even minor discrepancies in cash-handling operations Strong ability to investigate and resolve complex issues related to cash variances and risks Ability to clearly document findings and communicate recommendations with management and operational staff High level of professionalism in dealing with sensitive financial data and processes
