THE JOB:



As an On Call Union Bartender at Luxor, you are an essential part of guest experience. Your passion for crafting exceptional cocktails, personable demeanor and dynamic personality will set the stage for the memories that they can carry with them well past their stay with us. By delivering top-notch guest experiences alongside maintaining a pristine environment, you play a crucial role in elevating their experience.
STARTING RATE: $17.0344 + tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY:



Make and serve alcoholic and non‐alcoholic drinks, proportioning ingredients according to standardized recipes and provide food service as needed
Clean equipment, tools, and supplies and ensure equipment is in good working order, including, cleanliness, sanitation and appearance of the bar
Knowledgeable of menu items, liquor brands, beers and non‐alcoholic selections available
Ring poured or served beverages, collect payment, and follow all payment handling and variance procedures, including preparing daily reports and submitting appropriate paperwork
Provide Apprentice Bartender and Bar Porter with training and mentoring on overall function of the bar, guest service and bartending
Maintain bar inventory according to set pars and internal controls, and request product to maintain stock in bar
Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise refer the matter to management, notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft
Perform other job‐related duties as requested​

REQUIREMENTS:



Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
Must have a Union required Pour Card
Must currently hold or be able to obtain a TAM Card, Food Handlers, and Non-gaming Sherrif's Card

Demonstrates strong teamwork skills and prioritizes guest experience
Is flexible with their schedule, and reliable
Maintains a high level of responsibility in managing their time and tasks
Ability to multi‐task and work well in a fast paced, team‐oriented environment
Knowledgeable of health, safety and sanitation regulations as well as menu items, including mixing and serving beverages, standard beverage recipes, preparation methods, glassware, garnishes, products, menu items, supplies and equipment
Has prior experience using InfoGenesis POS system to process payments
Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate
