THE JOB:



The Assistant Manager for the Starbucks quick service outlet at the Luxor Hotel will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless daily operations of the establishment. This role requires a dynamic individual capable of managing a high-paced environment, supervising staff, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Assistant Manager will be instrumental in upholding the brand standards of Starbucks while aligning with the Luxor Hotel's commitment to excellence in hospitality.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:



Communication with Team: Liaise directly with the team on food service and menu issues to ensure a cohesive operation. Assist in the planning and implementation of seasonal and holiday menu changes.
Supply Management: Order supplies through the IP System and Purchasing department to maintain adequate stock levels. Implement cost control measures to optimize the outlet’s operational budget.
Supervise Cashiers: Ensure adherence to correct policies and procedures for check handling and closing by service staff. Manage cashier activities, ensuring compliance with Health Department and Fire Marshall regulations.
Supply Management: Order supplies through the IP System and Purchasing department to maintain adequate stock levels. Implement cost control measures to optimize the outlet’s operational budget.
Guest Relations: Engage with guests to handle special requests and manage large party reservations. Ensure exceptional guest experiences by addressing and resolving any issues promptly and professionally.

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE:



High School Diploma, GED or equivalent educational experience
2 years of prior relevant experience as a Supervisory lead in Food and Beverage, Lead Supervisor Starbucks, Lead Supervisor Quick Service Restaurant
