Purpose of Role
Reporting to the eCommerce Manager, the
Assistant Manager, Digital Marketing is responsible for planning, executing, analyzing all Digital Marketing channels for the Australian and New Zealand eCommerce Business. The Assistant Manager, Digital Marketing is responsible for driving traffic and sales to our eCommerce sites, as well as assisting with the planning and execution of digital campaigns across acquisition and retention in Australia and New Zealand.
The key objective of this role is to deliver a market-leading digital experience across our marketing portfolio. This involves performing activities to drive online customer acquisition and drive marketing activities with our internal brand marketing team and our digital marketing agency. In addition, this role is to grow and expand the Digital Marketing business and support, Local, Regional and Global efforts to improve ways of working, campaign strategies and efficiencies.
Your Impact
• Manage key partnerships with digital marketing agencies to execute, analyze and optimize paid media & affiliate marketing strategy to drive customer acquisition & retention
• Coordinate with vendors and agencies regularly to monitor spend and adjust based on performance to maximize ROI where needed
• Conduct A/B testing to refine creative, messaging, and targeting, using insights to optimize acquisition and reactivation campaigns
• Exploring & unlock new digital marketing channels to drive revenue
• Writing & briefing in campaign briefs to agencies for effective execution
• Reporting, analysis and ensuring a solid return on investment, along with budget management
• Partner with regional and local operational teams to support launch and go-to-market collections, products and promotions
• Collaborate with the wider Brand Marketing team to align on digital campaign calendar activities
Qualifications
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience in Marketing and/or agency environment
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Admin, or a related field.
• Digital marketing expertise with a key focus on paid media and lead generation activities
• Expertise in marketing technology tools (e.g. Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, Social platforms) including analytics platforms (e.g. Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Power BI)
• Strong analytical skills – comfortable diving into the analytics and staying flexible to build and tweak the strategy when needed
• Proven track record of managing a multi-million-dollar budget and optimising spend across channels to achieve strategic upper to mid-funnel objectives
• Well-developed stakeholder relationship management and collaboration competencies across all levels of the organisation
• Proven competency with office suite software
