AtkinsRealis is looking for an experienced Assistant Engineer – Wet Utilities for our Middle east delivery team to be based in Cairo, Egypt.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Design the Pressure and Gravity networks. Design pumping stations, water and wastewater treatment works process units. Middle East/UK/Canada experience is preferred
Detailed Design drawings and calculations.
To be part of Middle East delivery team.
To Liaise with the Lead Project Offices (LPOs) and the GTC Multi Discipline team.
To assist in delivering a range of projects related to Infrastructure utilities design and planning.
Knowledge of multidisciplinary projects to comply with the relevant CAD/BIM Standards
Develop project deliverables, particularly drawings and reports in accordance with client scope, budget, and quality requirements.
Qualifications & Experience:
Degree in Civil Engineering also preferable Masters degree in Environmental Engineering/Hydraulics/Water Resources Engineering
2 to 6 years of experience in the Water & Wastewater Industry.
Familiarity with ME/UK/BS Codes of Practice.
Working experience on Middle East standards (QSDDM,DEWA,GEM etc).
Ability to contribute to the project management of Detailed Design of projects.
Ability to apply, promote/improve quality systems.
Strong analytical skills.
Ability to work effectively with colleagues, seniors, team members and clients.
Good written and verbal English language communication skills.
Experience of major Infrastructure projects at feasibility and detailed design stages.
Team player with strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently
Good knowledge on drafting software like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation
Software knowledge: WaterCAD/WaterGems, Hammer; Sewer CAD/Sewer gems, Storm CAD, Infoworks ICM/CS, Civil storm, Micro drainage, Navisworks,CDE: ProjectWise/BIM360
Middle East/UK/Canada experience is preferred
