Octopus by RTG is hiring for a reputable insurance company with headquarters in Riyadh a skilled Application Operation Specialist to join the team.


Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Specialist - Application Operation - Digital to join our team. This role is crucial for providing Level 2 (L2) application support services to stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java, Oracle PL/SQL, and web services, including SOAP and REST, and will be adept at problem-solving and process management in line with industry best practices.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Application Support: Provide L2 support for digital applications, addressing and resolving issues in a timely manner according to established guidelines.
  • Problem Analysis: Analyze L2 queries and issues, determine appropriate solutions, and implement resolutions while adhering to relevant policies and best practices.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and refine problem-solving guidelines and processes to enhance support efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stakeholder Interaction: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs, provide technical support, and ensure satisfactory resolution of application-related issues.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of support activities, problem resolutions, and process changes to ensure knowledge sharing and compliance.
