The Operational Fraud Sr. supervisor is an essential part of developing, maintaining and delivering the local as well as Group’s Anti-Fraud strategies. This role is vital for the overall Fraud team’s deliverables; Where he/she will be responsible on leading a team of Anti-Fraud Specialists to ensure effective detection, monitoring and controlling both internal and external fraud risks.
• To develop and ensure the effective delivery of innovative strategies, Fraud management system developments and automation to combat fraud, by leading a culture of continuous improvement through assessment and evaluation, while concentrating on the quality of investigation and prevention.
• Leading a team of analysts with a main responsibility to protect VF-EG against specific list of Fraud types that might lead to the increase of VF-EG financial loss, cause reputational, legal, or regulatory damage while supporting growth and advancement of relevant Vodafone services & revenues.
• Ensure proper assessment and qualification of all projects, products & services that impact VF Egypt business and revenues.
• Responsible for detecting, analysis, reporting & preventing/minimizing fraud resulting from process/system gaps, or incidents and take the needed actions.
• Ensure Fraud free approval authority of all gifts, promos, free items and giveaways given to customers or employees through raffle, or competition under Egyptian law related to ministry of social affairs.
• Incident management for all incidents has financial/reputational impact and responsible for reporting it internally and to group corporate security
• Ensure a highly accurate monthly and periodical fraud reporting to Group Fraud & internal audit committee of VF Egypt.
1. Leading a team of analysts with a main responsibility to protect VF-EG against specific list of Fraud types while, supporting growth and advancement of relevant Vodafone services & revenues.
2. To develop and ensure the effective delivery of innovative strategies, Fraud management system developments and automation to combat fraud.
3. Ensure proper assessment and qualification of projects, products & services that impact VF Egypt business and revenues.
4. Responsible for detecting, analysis, reporting & preventing/minimizing fraud.
5. Ensure a highly accurate monthly and periodical fraud reporting to Group Fraud & internal audit committee of VF Egypt.
o At least 3 years of experience in the Anti-Fraud field or in a related area.
o Excellent analytical & Communication skills.
o Ability to develop and motivate a team with good communication skills and capable of leadership by example.
o High ability to deliver with applied innovation, speed and simplicity.
o Good organizational skills and attention to details is required
o IT or Engineering expertise is a plus.
