Responsibilities Design and execute the annual seeds production plan in designated agro zone. Design new FL varieties agronomy best practices recommendations according to FL varieties performance in seeds production fields. Design and execute the plan of new FL varieties protection trials in cooperation with the official authorities to ensure exclusive use for CFI in Egypt. Design and execute the annual agro equipment requirement plan in cooperation with agro operation and maintenance manager to ensure seeds production execution schedule. Design and execute seeds transportation plan in cooperation with the agro supply chain team to ensure planting and harvest plan execution schedule and avoid any impact for the planting and harvest delay on seeds yield and quality. Annually scanning and inspection for the available land in Egypt to secure proper land with very high quality for deferent seeds generations planting. Annually scanning and inspection for the available seeds cold store in Egypt to ensure Pepsico slandered requirements and cooperate with global procurement team in seeds cold stores rent negotiation with the owners for 35M ton of seeds. Design and execute annual fertilizing and plant protection plans with support of seeds program consultant and manage the execution to modify the programs according to the actual crop demands. Manage daily agricultural practices to ensure the execution schedule and efficiency. Handle all related SAP transactions to agro process. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or any relevant discipline. Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar role. Very high agronomy experience especially in the field of potato, potato seeds and corn production. Aware with global best practices relevant to seeds, potato production and new fertilizers or chemicals. Communication skills to handle effective communication with sector agro team, agricultural authorities, legal team, finance team and chip stoke suppliers. Numerical skills to calculate budget requirements, capex requirement, and seeds production cost for next 5 years, productivity and cost savings. Ability to build consensus among internal stakeholders and downstream departments. As well as ability to clearly communicate project goals, plans, and status updates. Ability to work under pressure especially with the limited resources and very hard business environment.
