Job Purpose:
Accounts Receivable & Commercial Officer is responsible for debt collections, invoicing support and commercial support such as taxation, order handling, logistics…etc as and when requoted.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
Ensure the accurate and timely invoicing of customers Setting payment collection goals and targets for the department Creating and implementing a strategy to improve the collection of outstanding credit Negotiating with customers in cases when non-payment occurs Preparing monthly feedback reports on payment collections Identified issues, analyzed information and provided solutions to problems Provide any other support for branch commercial related support - taxation / order handling / logistics support, government related support …etc.
Qualification and Experience:
Preferably graduate in Accounting / Commerce or Business streams Experience in the field of AR collection and other co-functions in Finance Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar capacity in commercial / AR / Accounting role
Skills & Competencies:
Sound knowledge in accounting software [ Ex - SAP / Concur …etc. ] Strong communication and Reporting skills Ability to work in a team environment Negotiation skills with clients and stakeholders Fluency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. Preferably bilingual skills [ Arabic & English]
