Role Objectives:The Accounting Payable Manager is responsible for leading and directing the Accounts Payable (A/P) team across Egypt and Saudi Arabia, as well as the Data Entry team and the Archiving department. He / She ensures that all work assignments are effectively overseen and delegated to meet operational demands. This includes maintaining accurate records of papers and invoices, consistently monitoring and reviewing archiving processes. Additionally, He / She collaborates with the Commercial department to review and verify suppliers' contracts, ensuring the correct application of agreed-upon discounts.Roles & Responsibilities:Review and verify invoice information from vendors, process payments to vendors or contractors, and handle accounts payable transactions.Pay vendors by monitoring discount opportunities, verifying tax ID numbers, scheduling checks, and resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation.Ensure the team's work is accurate and invoices are approved for payment using the correct process. Oversee the allocation of purchase order numbers (if applicable) and resolve any issues. Manage the resolution of escalated issues from team members.Oversee all accounts payable processes, ensure adherence to current procedures, and implement improvements where identified.Serve as the key point of contact in the finance team for suppliers, liaising with direct reports to ensure compliance with the procure-to-pay policy.Take day-to-day responsibility for updating the purchase ledger.Verify and reconcile invoices, manage the day-to-day activities of the payment cycle, and ensure timely and efficient processing.Play a key role in providing external audit requirements, including supporting documentation, vendor confirmations, and open vendor items.Required Education, Knowledge, And Skills:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum of 7+ years of experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial position.Experience working in the Saudi Arabian market is a plus.Proficiency in ERP Systems preferably Odoo and advanced Excel skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with suppliers, auditors, and internal stakeholdersStrong problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement and operational efficiency.Experience in hiring, training, and mentoring staff to enhance team performance
