We are looking for a customer-focused Accounting Training Specialist to join our Customer Onboarding Team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing accounting training and support to new clients, ensuring a smooth transition to our POS and accounting solution. Your ability to simplify complex accounting concepts and deliver a positive onboarding experience will be critical to our customers' success. + Customer Training & Onboarding: Provide onboarding training for new customers, focusing on the accounting features of our solution.
+ Tailor training sessions based on individual customer needs to ensure understanding of accounting processes.
+ Accounting Expertise: Act as an accounting subject matter expert, providing customers with support on using accounting functionalities such as general ledger, invoicing, and reconciliation.
+ Translate accounting terminology into user-friendly explanations that align with customers' backgrounds and needs.
+ Assist new customers with data migration and system configuration as it relates to accounting records.
+ Offer proactive guidance to avoid common pitfalls and ensure that accounting practices align with best standards.
+ Feedback & Improvement: Gather customer feedback on training effectiveness and onboarding experience, providing insights to improve product and training processes.
+ Provide suggestions for product improvements based on user experience and commonly encountered issues.
Requirements and Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
+ Experience in an accounting or training role; experience in SaaS or tech environment is a plus.
+ Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial processes, and terminology.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in simple terms.
+ Experience delivering training or conducting presentations, either in-person or virtually.
+ Ability to adapt quickly, manage multiple projects, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
+ Customer-centric approach with a passion for helping others succeed.
+ Experience with POS systems or accounting software.
+ Knowledge of instructional design or adult learning techniques.
