Job Description
EgyBell is hiring Accounting Specialist (Revenue Assurance) for a leading Tech-based & e-Mobility solutions provider.
Key Responsibilities:
• Revenue invoice booking: Accurately book, review, and verify revenue invoices.
• Revenue leakage detection: Identify and investigate billing errors, system issues, or potential fraud.
• Data analysis: Use tools like Excel and Power BI to analyze data, identify trends, and detect risks.
• System audits: Regularly audit billing and data systems to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Reconciliation: Match revenue data from different sources, resolving any discrepancies.
• Fraud prevention: Develop measures to prevent fraud and handle suspicious activities.
• Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on findings and recommendations.
• Stakeholder collaboration: Work with finance, operations, and tech teams for seamless processes.
• Promo code management: Ensure promo codes are correctly assigned to eligible customers.
• Deferred revenue: Calculate and analyze deferred revenue for accurate reporting.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in revenue assurance, preferably in telecom or e-mobility.
• Familiarity with billing systems and revenue recognition principles.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel and Power BI.
• Fluency in English with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and attention to detail.
• Preferred certifications: An IFRS diploma, CPA, or CMA is a plus.
