Your Role – International, Challenging And Future-Oriented!

• Responsibility for closing and reporting procedures according to Siemens requirements, working closely with both multiple shared services and business to achieve this.
• Ensures implementation of approved accounting policies and procedures for assigned organizational unit(s), that match respective legal requirements - (i.e. IFRS and local GAAP).
• Oversees, manages and assesses improvements in all accounting transaction processes, also in coordination with shared services.
• Reviews, analyzes and ensures proper evaluation and disclosure of Company’s assets, liabilities, income and expenditure according to Siemens-wide or specific business guidelines.
• Manages the preparation of Company’s balance sheet, P&L reports, annual financial statements, and reports respectively to management.
• Ensures internal controls are in place, and accounting complies with all external regulations. Cooperates with external Auditors.
• Manages a team of professionals and support staffs in different organizational settings.
• Ensures compliance with local accounting, tax and other statutory regulations.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

Excellent accounting skills with ability to demonstrate understanding and interpretation of key financial statements with experience of minimum 7 to 10 years.
·Qualified (ACCA/CMA/CPA) or equivalent with relevant experience in a project-based industry.
·Strong understanding of POC accounting and project controlling requirements.
·Expert knowledge and experience in accounting for construction contracts, hedge accounting, provisions, and accruals.
·Be interested in the challenge of working in a dynamic and fast paced international environment.
·Advanced experience with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
·Knowledge and experience using SAP (essential) (especially FICO module)
·Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
·Demonstrate an interest in digitalization and automation of processes
·Strong willingness to learn and develop
