As Accounting Manager, you will supervise, track and evaluate the day-to-day activities. Accounting Manager responsibilities include establishing financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying and reporting information.


You will have several direct reports and work to allocate tasks evenly across the team. Responsible for driving team performance and getting the most out of individual contributors.


Job Description:


  • Evaluating, developing, and improving department controls, systems, and procedures that increase accuracy and efficiency.
  • Overseeing the daily activities of the accounting department and ensuring that all major projects, month-end, and year-end reports are completed accurately and on time.
  • Ensuring that all accounting processes align with current financial legislation.
  • Analyzing financial data and creating reports for management, stakeholders, and external parties, such as vendors or lenders.
  • Maintaining accurate and complete financial records and participating in audits or reconciliations, as needed.
  • Assisting other departments as they develop strategies, establish objectives, and make decisions that could have a financial impact on the business.
  • Keeping informed about the latest developments in the finance industry.

Job Requirements:


Technical Competencies:


  • 7-10 years of experience in Accounting/Finance in general.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar position as “Accounting Manager”.
  • Excellent Negotiations & Problem-Solving Skills.
  • Well Organized and detailed oriented person.
  • Excellent management and supervisory skills.

General Qualifications:


  • Ability to take ownership and initiative along with a problem solving and decision-making attitude.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or related field.
  • Strong computer skills using Microsoft office software such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
