Money Fellows is seeking a skilled Accounting Manager to lead our accounting department. This role involves overseeing the daily financial operations, ensuring compliance, and providing accurate financial reporting to support decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles and a proven track record in financial management.
Supervise all accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Coordinate the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
Manage budget and forecasting processes, monitoring variance and reporting on key performance indicators.
Lead audits, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance with standards.
Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and improve efficiency.
Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and recommendations.
Stay up to date with industry trends and accounting regulations.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
8+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or treasury roles, preferably within the FinTech, technology, or financial services industry.
Proven experience managing accounting, treasury, and financial operations in a high-growth environment.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax compliance.
Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
High level of integrity and attention to detail.
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance in the FinTech industry.
