Accounting Manager

The Accounting Manager is responsible managing and overseeing the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes. He will supervise, track and evaluate day-to-day activities while monitoring and analyzing accounting data, developing and implementing systems to produce verified financial reports or information including financial statement preparation and cash management.

JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review and control all accounting entries and account information analysis by establishing internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions.
• Lead, coach, and support the accounting team in their day to day and month end activities.
• Lead the month end and year end closing cycle.
• Maintain and balances company accounts by verifying, allocating, reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
• Maintain general ledger, preparing a trial balance and reconciling entries.
• Summarize and analyze financial status, preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and cash flow statements.
• Support the ERP Implementation from the finance side.
• Support Microsoft navision ERP.
• Maintain and develop accounting policies and procedures while presenting recommendations to management on short- and long-term financial objectives and policies.
• Avoids legal challenges by complying with legal requirements.
• Secures financial information by completing database backups and ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
• Support the budget and forecasting process/activities.
• Prepare and oversees the production of periodic financial management reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards.
