Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Accountant with expertise in SAP Business One to manage the company's growing accounting needs. This role requires strong financial acumen, familiarity with GAAP accounting standards, and proficiency in day-to-day bookkeeping and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will take ownership of accounting operations and maintain clean financial records. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day bookkeeping, including transaction classification, reconciliations, and ledger management.
Prepare monthly and year-end financial reports in compliance with GAAP.
Manage financial records and reporting within SAP Business One - must know and be proficient in SAP Business One
Ensure accuracy in accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and tax compliance.
Collaborate with leadership to optimize financial processes and reporting.
Provide financial insights to support business decision-making.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an accountant, preferably within a consulting or service-based business.
Proficiency in SAP Business One is a must.
Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles.
Experience with month-end and year-end closing processes.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage financial operations with minimal oversight.
