Job Description
We’re looking for a
National Finance Graduate to start their career in our
Fulton Hogan Construction business, based in Sydney.
Working with all levels of management, as a Finance Graduate you will see the big picture behind the numbers. Through different rotations, you will be exposed to a wide range of accounting functions, assisting teams with
monthly management accounting; forecasting and reporting; statutory financial reporting; annual budgets; ad-hoc commercial analysis, regulatory compliance and internal auditing.
You will work to a high-quality bar, ensuring useful, accurate information is provided on a timely basis, whilst developing knowledge, skills and experience to create a solid foundation for a career in finance.
Highlights of our Graduate Program:
An
18-24 month program that will expose you to a range of fast-paced environments where no challenge is the same. Minimum 3 rotations to different finance teams across the business, ensuring a
breadth of experience is gained as a Graduate. A specialised
Career Development Framework (CDF) that maps out the skills, experience and competencies you need to progress from a graduate through to management. Regular
personal development sessions to enhance your professional growth. A
Graduate Group Project to engage with our senior leaders, sharpen your presentation skills, and innovate solutions to improve Fulton Hogan’s operations. A
buddy who may be a current or recent Graduate, there to help you with those day-to-day questions. A
regional welcome and
annual Grad Camp so you can network with graduates from your cohort and senior leaders in our business.
Study support throughout your professional accountancy qualifications.

To be successful in the program you will have:
Practical decision-making skills; A hands-on approach to getting things done in a safe manner and as part of a team; Passion, enthusiasm, resilience and drive; Flexibility to travel, and be willing to participate in rotations to take on opportunities across the State to progress your career development; and A commitment to obtaining professional accountancy qualification such as CA or CPA.
To be eligible, you must:
Have a valid right to work in Australia. Have completed a relevant undergraduate degree in the last two years or be due to complete your studies before February 2025.
