The Executive Secretary Diploma is an advanced program specifically meant for those who have already gained a recognized diploma or degree and who now wish to study a course that prepares them for prime management administrative positions in the corporate world either public or private sector. The emphasis during the course is on those aspects, which are essential for effective Secretarial administration assisting Managers at middle and top Management within commercial or non-commercial organizations.



The purpose of this unit is to provide a comprehensive review of the major behavior patterns that effective leaders use to influence followers, this unit keys in on what effective leaders really do and emphasizes how leaders can diagnose and modify situations and followers to make their leadership a more positive and productive endeavor.



The purpose of the unit is to familiarize the learners with the functions of management and the various supporting arms of business on the whole. This unit would provide the learners with an appreciation towards the functions of marketing, finance and human resources in the organizations context.



This unit is designed to introduce learners to the principles of marketing strategies and to develop their knowledge and understanding of the formulation, implementation and control of a marketing strategy which is implemented by the marketing function of an organization. Learners will learn about the theoretical concepts associated with a marketing strategy and the marketing planning process and its application to different market situations, by applying a range of appropriate marketing activity strategies. The factors and issues that influence marketing strategies and the role and impact of marketing strategies in the business and social environment will also be addressed.
